What was your favorite part about your experience at OrthoRehab?
The commitment the therapists show to me as a patient and a person. The therapists are incredibly knowledgeable, capable, and compassionate. They ask for my therapy goals as well as my restrictions, and then work relentlessly to help me achieve these goals. They will not give up as long as I don’t give up. In addition, the office staff is always friendly and helpful and the facilities are state of the art.
How has the OrthoRehab team impacted your life?
I had issues from my knees dislocating since high school. At 60, I was having significant knee pain that was preventing me from hiking and biking, which were my favorite activities with my husband and family. I visited an orthopedic surgeon who told me both knees were bone on bone and to come back for knee replacements. I saw Rebecca for therapy and she strengthened my knees, and the pain went away even without knee braces. She gave me progressive exercises that were easy to do at home and I continue to do these exercises on a regular basis. Now I am outside hiking and biking with my family in retirement. .
If you were to recommend your physical therapist to a friend, what would you say?
Rebecca thoroughly understands body motion and what muscles are needed for activities. She will look at your entire body as a system and fix the system. OrthoRehab has changed my life so I can be active without pain in my retirement.
