What situation or injury led you to ORSI?
I came to ORSI in 2013 for post-knee surgery rehabilitation. The knee needed both strengthening and flexibility initially, and following that I needed to regain core stability to help with everyday life.
How would you categorize your story?
My story is about getting my abilities back on track. The staff (Terry and Anni) knew how frustrating it was for me to be inactive.
Please share your experience.
What amazes me is that Terry is always on his game, whether it’s 8:00 AM on a cold autumn day or closing time on Monday with a full week of work ahead. By game, I mean identifying and creating a work plan for the obvious problems, and then identifying some other body part that is not quite functioning to spec and limiting a full recovery. And I very much appreciate the clear guidance for his assistant Anni when it comes to demonstrating my take home exercises.
What goals did OrthoRehab help you accomplish?
I had a setback because I worked the knee too hard, too soon after surgery and hand to lay off for awhile. But Terry and the team stuck with me and by 6 months post-surgery I was back to nearly 100%. And I have maintained that knee now for another 3 years.
