OrthoRehab Specialists is seeking an experienced and motivated physical therapist to join our well-established outpatient orthopedic practice serving the Twin Cities region. With clinic locations in Edina and Minneapolis, our team provides hands-on, evidence-based care for orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Founded by licensed physical therapists, OrthoRehab Specialists offers personalized one-on-one treatment, ensuring that patients see the same clinician at every visit. Our therapists hold advanced certifications in orthopedic manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, pelvic health, and neurological care. We integrate the latest research and clinical best practices from the American Physical Therapy Association into every treatment plan. Our facilities feature private treatment rooms, dedicated areas for functional training, balance and gait work, and advanced therapeutic modalities such as dry needling and blood flow restriction training.
Role and Responsibilities
As a full-time physical therapist with OrthoRehab Specialists, you will:
- Perform thorough patient evaluations including medical history review, postural analysis, joint mobility testing, strength and flexibility assessments, and functional movement screens
- Develop individualized treatment plans combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment in our functional training area to support patient goals
- Document patient progress and communicate findings with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to share insights, case studies, and best practices
- Assist with community outreach events, in-services, and workshops to promote the value of physical therapy
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Minnesota
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings including pre- and post-operative care
- Strong manual therapy skills with advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy or sports rehabilitation
- Experience with spinal care and management of conditions such as lumbar and cervical dysfunction
- Current certification in CPR and first aid; additional certifications such as dry needling or blood flow restriction training are a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
