PHYSICAL THERAPY DEGREE:
University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse
Minnesota and American Physical Therapy Associations
BEST PART OF MY WORK:
I have a chance to improve people’s quality of life! I enjoy the challenge of uncovering the underlying cause of dysfunction by listening carefully to the patient’s history, completing an exam based on that information, then designing and implementing an individualized treatment strategy in collaboration with the patient.
WHY I BECAME A PHYSICAL THERAPIST:
I enjoy combining the art of creative thinking and the science of how the body works. This is a unique opportunity to use my hands to do so!
HOW I SPEND MY FREE TIME:
I love to play outside in many forms: I run marathons and ultra-marathons, I ski both Nordic and Alpine, I sea kayak and go camping. I mix in Yoga, time with my husband and canine companion and enjoy the arts and theater.
