Why should I choose OrthoRehab Specialists?
Our company is an independent, therapist-owned and operated company. Our
physical therapists are veteran professionals, most with ten or more years of
orthopedic clinical experience. Our emphasis is on direct patient-therapist care
with a manual approach to treatment, incorporated with exercise and activity
for self-management of care.
Do I need a physician referral to be treated in the clinic?
To ensure insurance benefits cover your physical therapy care, it is recommended
that you call your insurance provider to receive specific information regarding
need for a physician referral, as well as your physical therapy benefits. Once
authorized, self-referrals are accepted, though by law, treatment beyond thirty
days will require a physician referral.
Where are the clinics located?
OrthoRehab Specialists has clinics in downtown Minneapolis at the Medical Arts
Building, accessible by the skyway system, as well as Edina and Eden Prairie.

What should I expect for my initial visit?
Initial appointments will be approximately one hour in length but may vary from thirty
to ninety minutes. An evaluation will be performed by the physical therapist followed by
treatment and discussion of the rehabilitation plan. Please see our link to Appointments for further details.
Do I have a copay?
The office visit copay should be listed on your insurance card. Check with your insurance provider if
you have additional questions regarding you copay. Copays must be paid at the time of service and can
be paid by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
We are providers for most major health plans. We request that patients contact
their insurance carrier to verify coverage.
Whom should I contact regarding billing or insurance questions?
Please call our main office phone number 612-339-2041 and ask for Jane or Michelle for any
related questions you may have.
